Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Skipit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Skipit provides AI-assisted summaries and chat features for supported video content. AI-generated responses can be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be relied on as professional advice.
3. Accounts and privacy
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Account management is available without a paid subscription through the user avatar in the app. Requests to erase application data can also be sent to admin@skipit.ai. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew according to the billing interval shown at checkout until canceled. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can manage or cancel an active subscription through the Billing link in the app. Mandatory consumer rights under applicable law are not limited by these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, evade usage or security controls, or use it in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
6. Your content and third-party services
You retain responsibility for the links, prompts, and other content you submit. You must have the right to use that content. Skipit depends on third-party services, including video platforms, authentication, AI, hosting, and payment providers, whose availability may affect the service.
7. Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features and may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a revised effective date.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.
